Entry-level engineer who supports lean process improvement and design-for-manufacture efforts on the production floor. At the Entry-Level Professional (P1) level, the role owns own tasks within a defined component, routine problems with known solutions, and drives own deliverables. None — building the craft.

- Collect and interpret shop-floor data (cycle times, changeover durations, defect counts) on a single process under direction, and document current-state observations to support improvement plans
- Perform basic 5S audits and support workplace organization activities on assigned lines following defined checklists
- Run structured 5 Whys and root cause exercises on routine, well-bounded quality and productivity issues with close review from a senior engineer
- Prepare value stream mapping inputs and update visual management boards under supervision, learning the standard lean toolkit as applied on the line
