At the Developing Professional (P2) level, the role owns defined deliverables / small features, applies established patterns, and drives own and immediate-team deliverables. May guide interns.
What this level does
- Investigate known or suspected internal theft, external theft, and vendor fraud cases at the store level, gathering and documenting evidence following defined detention and use-of-force procedures
- Conduct store audits to identify problem areas and procedural deficiencies, applying judgment to recurring loss patterns
- Implement established procedures and systems to prevent merchandise loss and reduce shrinkage within the assigned store
- Coordinate with store associates and supervisors to close identified procedural gaps and reinforce loss-prevention compliance
- Compile and analyze shift and audit findings to flag emerging shortage trends to the loss-prevention manager
