- Independently secure a portfolio of property rights — fee simple purchases, easements, leases, temporary workspace agreements, licenses, permits — across a project or corridor, planning day-to-day acquisition activity to hit milestones
- Negotiate more complex or contested easements and access agreements, evaluating title defects, split ownership, and heir situations and selecting the appropriate instrument
- Ensure acquisitions comply with local, state, and federal regulations including NEPA analysis, coordinating with legal and environmental reviewers
- Coordinate the work of coordinators and administrators on a project, reviewing their title research and documentation for accuracy
- Knowledge applied
- Applies deep title, valuation, and regulatory (including NEPA) knowledge to a diverse mix of instruments, selecting the right approach for varied parcel situations.
