Entry-level support role assisting with day-to-day workplace safety and environmental compliance activities. At the Support Associate (S1) level, the role owns a single task type or queue, routine, well-defined requests, and drives individual transactions. None.

What this level does

  • Perform routine safety checks and walk-throughs using a provided checklist, recording findings on the standard inspection form under close supervision
  • Collect environmental and industrial-hygiene samples following step-by-step instructions and label, log and hand off specimens per established procedure
  • Maintain and calibrate monitoring equipment (gas meters, sound-level and air-sampling devices) on the prescribed schedule, flagging any out-of-range readings to senior staff
  • File and update MSDS/SDS records and OSHA 300 log entries exactly as instructed
  • Assist senior EHS staff in setting up training rooms and distributing safety materials for scheduled sessions
