At the Manager (Team Lead) (M1) level, the role owns a single team, day-to-day delivery and people issues, and drives team output and health. Direct people management of one team.

- Oversees daily operations of a unit of EHS technicians conducting workplace inspections, field sampling, dust/gas monitoring and equipment maintenance to established procedures
- Runs safety-awareness training sessions and modules for employees on health and safety regulations and precautions across the assigned area
- Reviews inspection and monitoring records for completeness and ensures the team's evaluations of equipment and practices meet safety standards and government regulations
- Coordinates first-line incident response and recordkeeping, escalating findings and program gaps to the EHS manager
- Knowledge applied
- Applies working knowledge of OSHA requirements, sampling/monitoring methods and safety-training content to run a unit against established practices.
