An individual contributor who supports day-to-day operational activities and analysis under regular guidance from more experienced staff. At the Developing Professional (P2) level, the role owns defined deliverables / small features, applies established patterns, and drives own and immediate-team deliverables. May guide interns.
What this level does
- Coordinates a defined set of operational processes with general instruction, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within the assigned scope
- Assists in planning and assigning day-to-day work within a team, monitoring progress against milestones and escalating slippage
- Analyzes recurring operational data (turnover of tasks, cycle time, cost against a line-item budget) and recommends conventional process adjustments
- Maintains and improves operational documentation and trackers, and may mentor P1 staff on standard procedures and tooling
