What this role is
An entry-level individual contributor who supports day-to-day non-manufacturing operational activities under close guidance. At the Entry-Level Professional (P1) level, the role owns own tasks within a defined component, routine problems with known solutions, and drives own deliverables. None — building the craft.
What this level does
- Executes routine operational tasks under close supervision, following defined procedures for scheduling meetings, tracking task completion, and updating operational trackers in tools such as Asana and Excel
- Compiles data on task status and process metrics for a single team or process area, and flags exceptions to a senior operations professional
- Learns the organization's standard operating procedures and applies them to well-structured, repeatable operational work
- Supports coordinators and managers with clerical and administrative operational activities such as maintaining records and preparing standard reports
- Knowledge applied
- Applies standard operational procedures and basic tooling (Excel, Asana) to well-defined, repeatable tasks; developing familiarity with how the operations function works.
- Complexity & problem solving
- Handles routine operational problems with standard, documented answers; escalates anything non-standard.
- Collaboration & interaction
- Maintains stable working relationships within a single team; interacts mainly with an assigning supervisor.
- Typical experience
- 0–1 years; new graduate or intern entering an operations support role.
