- Oversee routine maintenance and repair scheduling for assigned vessels, confirming work is completed in compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Coordinate and oversee day-to-day vessel movements and personnel movements, exercising routine independence within familiar port operations
- Compile cargo and vessel operating data for the section, resolving conventional scheduling and documentation issues without escalation
