- Learn and apply federal and state vessel operating rules and safety protocols on routine, well-defined tasks
- Support daily cargo loading and unloading checks, flagging discrepancies against manifests to the responsible lead

- Maritime Regulatory and Safety Compliance
- — Applies federal and state vessel operating rules, safety protocols and environmental regulations to marine operations, and builds safety culture consistent with loss-control goals.
- Marine Vendor and Agency Relations
- — Handles clients diplomatically and networks with vendors, operators, port authorities and agencies in the marine community to secure services and resolve operational issues.
- Marine Navigation and Communication Systems
- — Uses modern marine navigation and communication systems to monitor vessel position, coordinate movements and maintain contact across shipboard and shoreside operations.
- Shipyard Period Operational Support
