- Enforces hazard-awareness and safety procedures on the job site, verifying that maintenance logs and machinery-breakdown reports are completed in a timely fashion
- Inspects finished work and tested products for flaws, correcting quality issues within established trade practices before hand-off
- Escalates complex troubleshooting problems and equipment failures beyond established repair procedures to the master tradesperson or manager
