- Set fleet-wide maintenance and reliability direction across coal- and gas-fired boilers, Heat Recovery Steam Generators, and balance-of-plant equipment, coordinating repairs, combustion tuning, and performance across the fleet
- Provide visionary, field-shaping problem-solving on the fleet's most critical reliability challenges, defining the technical standards other engineers and plants adopt
- Serve as recognized principal authority and prime technical contact for the largest maintenance contracts and cross-plant programs, exercising full independence
- Design significantly superior reliability methods and mental models of asset behavior that raise the availability ceiling across the fleet, surpassing prior program practice
- Provide high-level mentorship to senior reliability engineers and influence peer professionals and industry practice on plant maintenance strategy

- Breakdown Response and Troubleshooting
- — Responds to production-loss breakdowns, troubleshooting and repairing failures quickly and accurately while observing safety precautions to keep line downtime minimal and prevent recurrence.
- Boiler and HRSG Fleet Reliability
- — Coordinates repairs, combustion tuning, and performance across fleet-wide equipment such as coal- and gas-fired boilers, Heat Recovery Steam Generators, and balance-of-plant systems.
- Spare Parts and Maintenance Standardization
- — Standardizes maintenance procedures and spare-parts strategies across equipment classes to make reliability outcomes repeatable and cost-effective across the site or fleet.
- Maintenance Project Leadership
- — Leads and coordinates multiple engineering maintenance projects, developing and improving techniques and procedures and serving as prime technical contact for contracts and vendors.
