- Supervise the daily operations of the optical floor, ensuring opticians assist customers in selecting frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements and prescriptions
- Oversee dispensing activities on the shift — checking that eyeglasses are properly fit, aligned, and adjusted before hand-off to the customer
- Track orders, perform inventory checks, and reorder frames, lenses and supplies as stock runs down
- Resolve routine customer service issues at the counter and instruct customers on adapting to, wearing, and caring for their eyewear
- Ensure staff follow lensometry verification and measurement procedures so work orders to the lab are accurate
