An experienced field and office technician who collects, processes, and verifies spatial data for oil and gas land and project planning. At the Senior Support Specialist (S3) level, the role owns escalated / complex cases, complex or non-standard cases, and drives resolution quality on the team's hardest cases. Guides junior support informally.

- Perform moderately difficult analytical tasks such as buffer-overlay analysis to surface patterns for urban planning, environmental impact and transportation datasets, deciding independently how to sequence the geoprocessing steps
- Build and maintain project geodatabases with multiple inputs, resolving projection mismatches, topology errors and attribute conflicts using judgment rather than step-by-step instruction
- Handle non-routine data requests end-to-end — sourcing supplementary resources like aerial photos, running the analysis and preparing the map output with little day-to-day supervision
- Provide quality assurance on other technicians' mapping products, catching accuracy and metadata issues and coordinating rework
