At the Developing Professional (P2) level, the role owns defined deliverables / small features, applies established patterns, and drives own and immediate-team deliverables. May guide interns.

- Execute defined interpretation tasks — log correlation, cross-section construction, contour mapping — with general instruction and periodic review of results
- Conduct surface and subsurface field investigations independently for assigned areas, documenting observations in standard geologic reports
- Prepare sections of geologic reports and assemble factual data for stakeholder review, escalating interpretive ambiguities to senior staff
- Build basic 3D geologic model components and populate databases, checking outputs against established geologic conventions

- Applies defined interpretation procedures — cross-sections, contour maps, basic 3D components — in familiar geologic contexts with general instruction.

- 2+ years with a BA/BS in geology, or MS/PhD with little prior experience.
