An experienced individual contributor who performs complex diagnostic, repair, and installation work on drilling, well, and pipeline equipment with minimal oversight. At the Lead Support Specialist (S4) level, the role owns team process and quality, cross-case patterns and process gaps, and drives team-level quality and efficiency. Mentors and coordinates the support team.

Equipment Troubleshooting and Diagnosis
Diagnoses problems with field equipment and engines by interpreting symptoms, test readings and equipment history, and determines the proper repair path and which repairs are achievable on site.
Field Repair and Servicing
Tests, repairs and services technical equipment at customer locations, managing on-site installation, repair, maintenance and testing to return equipment to working condition during the visit.
Preventive Maintenance
Performs scheduled preventive maintenance and inspections on field equipment to keep it running reliably and to identify emerging faults before failure.
Schematic and Blueprint Interpretation

Field Service Truck Stock Management
Maintains equipment, spare parts and calibrated tools stocked in the company field service truck so callouts can be completed without return trips.
Root Cause Analysis
Performs advanced troubleshooting on critical or chronic equipment failures to identify the underlying cause and prevent recurrence, rather than only clearing the immediate fault.
Cabling and Fiber Optics
In telecom/IT field work, performs cabling, wire folding and cable pulling with basic routing, working with high- and low-density fiber optical systems, copper and RF transport devices.
