Senior individual contributor responsible for administering and optimizing employee benefit and retirement programs. At the Senior Professional (P4) level, the role owns a system or set of related features, devises new approaches, and drives multi-team / function outcomes. Technical lead for focused efforts; mentors several.

- Lead the design and implementation of benefits programs and recommend changes to improve offerings
- Analyze benefits trends, costs, and utilization to inform plan decisions and renewals
- Participate in vendor negotiations and plan renewals, selecting methods and negotiating terms with brokers and carriers
- Serve as subject-matter expert for a portfolio of plans, managing high-level projects and analyzing plan performance
- Mentor junior staff, lead cross-functional projects, and lead benefits training sessions

- Applies advanced expertise in plan design and benefits economics to complex issues with functional impact; selects analytical and negotiation methods without procedural guidance.
