  • Owns manufacturing operations for a plant or major value stream, making departmental capacity and staffing decisions that carry functional cost and quality impact.
  • Drives the plant-wide Lean Culture program, selecting improvement methods and leading teams to deliver measurable gains in product quality and process efficiency.
  • Performs in-depth analysis of complex operational variables — labor productivity, throughput bottlenecks, yield loss — and selects the methods used to resolve them.
  • Has a meaningful say in the site's operational strategy, working closely with plant leadership on major operational decisions and budget ownership.
  • Coordinates across production, maintenance, quality, and supply functions and may supervise or lead subordinate operations managers and improvement projects.
