- Provide leadership and direction to the workforce, combining administrative duties with on-site supervision of multiple crews or shifts
- Diagnose root causes of production and safety-performance gaps across the area and drive corrective actions with the crews and maintenance
- Influence planning and drill-and-blast decisions by feeding back field execution constraints and outcomes
