- — Collects, enters, and maintains the accuracy of energy consumption records — utility bills, meter readings, square footage, equipment inventories, and weather normalization inputs — that underpin all downstream energy analysis for a property portfolio.
- Energy Consumption Trend Analysis
- — Analyzes properties within a portfolio for trends and anomalies in energy consumption, distinguishing genuine efficiency signals from data noise and seasonal/weather-driven variation.
- Energy Auditing
- — Conducts on-site and data-driven audits of facilities to assess how energy is used, quantifies waste, and documents specific areas where consumption or cost can be reduced.
- Energy Management Solution Recommendation
- — Recommends and prioritizes efficient energy management measures for buildings and systems, tying each proposal to measurable savings against a consumption baseline.
- Energy Market Research
- — Researches and analyzes energy markets, rates, and supply conditions to support procurement and strategic operational decision-making.
- Energy Production & Distribution Operations
- — Oversees day-to-day running of energy production and distribution systems, coordinating personnel, equipment, and resources so energy goals are met safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively.
- Energy Efficiency Design Collaboration
- — Works with engineers and architects to embed energy-efficient design principles into retrofits and new builds, translating operational data into design requirements.
- Long-Term Energy Planning & Procurement
- — Develops multi-year energy planning and procurement strategies that align energy supply, cost, and reliability with broader business objectives.
- SCADA/EMS Technical Support
- — Provides technical support for Energy Management Systems (EMS) and Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems and related infrastructure used in transmission and operations centers to monitor and control energy assets.
- Energy Regulatory Relationship Management
- — Oversees relationships with city, state, and federal regulatory authorities governing energy operations, maintaining trust and negotiating key municipal and state policies and agreements.
- Energy Operations Financial Stewardship
- — Coordinates the organization's budget and financial activities to fund energy operations, maximize investment returns, and increase operating efficiency.
- Operational Excellence Leadership
- — Directs strategic business plan processes across operating companies to maximize customer satisfaction, workforce effectiveness, and operational performance in energy operations.
- Regulatory & Standards Awareness
- — Stays current on evolving industry standards, regulations, and best practices in energy management and updates operating procedures accordingly.
