Performs complex prescription preparation and dispensing tasks with a high degree of independence under pharmacist oversight. At the Lead Support Specialist (S4) level, the role owns team process and quality, cross-case patterns and process gaps, and drives team-level quality and efficiency. - Act as working lead for the technician team during a shift — assigning stations, sequencing the fill queue at peak, and coordinating opening/closing and shift-change handoffs
- Own a specialized support workflow (e.g. sterile compounding prep, medication history intake, or controlled-substance recordkeeping) and keep its records audit-ready
