An entry-level geophysicist who supports field data collection and basic analysis of subsurface measurements under close guidance. At the Entry-Level Professional (P1) level, the role owns own tasks within a defined component, routine problems with known solutions, and drives own deliverables. None — building the craft.

- Collect data in the field using geophysical instruments under close supervision, including conducting electromagnetic surveys, testing electrical resistivity, and completing earth-imaging surveys with devices such as seismometers
- Enter and maintain data in geophysical databases and populate standard report templates following defined procedures
- Perform routine quality checks on acquired seismic, gravity, and magnetic data against established acceptance criteria under direction of senior staff
- Assist with equipment setup, calibration, and mobilization for surveys, learning field protocols and safety requirements

- Applies foundational geophysical principles and basic computing/data-entry skills to collect and log data with detailed instruction on instruments and procedures.
