- Controls drilling expenditures against budgeted cost while optimizing rig-contract and service-contract utilization.
- Leads the field team to execute the drilling program in compliance with codes of practice, safety and environmental protection.
- Interfaces with drilling engineering to reconcile the field-executed plan with wellbore trajectory design and adjusts for downhole conditions.
