Distribution Center Operations
Executes and coordinates the full DC cycle — receiving, put-away, storage, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, and dispatch of finished goods — according to organizational procedures and accuracy standards.
Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
Uses WMS and inventory-management software to record and direct stock moves, drive picking and replenishment tasks, and reconcile system records against physical inventory; at advanced levels provides functional/technical and application leadership on the distribution systems.
Inventory Control and Accuracy
Maintains inventory accuracy through cycle counts, reconciliation of WMS records to physical stock, and investigation of variances so that on-hand quantities and locations remain reliable.
Warehouse Workforce Supervision
Directs, assigns, and audits the work of warehouse staff, loaders, and drivers; leads training and cross-training, enforces company policy, and administers corrective action when appropriate.
Transportation and Logistics Coordination
Coordinates inbound and outbound freight handoffs with carriers and logistics partners so trucks are scheduled, loaded, and unloaded to meet dispatch commitments.
Process Improvement in Distribution
Reviews warehouse processes to find inefficiency, implements throughput and accuracy improvements, and presents insights and recommendations to senior management.
Labor and Throughput Planning
Plans warehouse labor against forecast volume across shifts to hit picking, packing, and shipping targets while controlling cost.
Supply Chain Systems Data Analysis
Applies working knowledge of SQL or Python to support WMS configuration, reporting, and data troubleshooting within a low-code distribution-systems environment.
Distribution Strategy and Policy Development
