What this role is
Picks, packs, and prepares customer orders for shipment within a distribution center under routine supervision. At the Entry-Level Professional (P1) level, the role owns own tasks within a defined component, routine problems with known solutions, and drives own deliverables. None — building the craft.
What this level does
- Execute standard picking, packing, and put-away tasks for finished goods under close supervision, following documented procedures for each step
- Scan and confirm goods during receiving so that inbound quantities match the packing documentation and inventory records stay accurate
- Perform replenishment moves from bulk to pick locations as directed, learning the facility slotting layout and the WMS transactions for each move
- Report discrepancies, damaged goods, or missing stock to the supervisor rather than resolving them independently
- Knowledge applied
- Applies basic material-handling and WMS scan procedures to routine picking, packing, put-away, and receiving tasks; learning the facility layout and standard flows.
