What this role is

Leads a small team of clinical/technical sales support specialists who advise veterinarians, farmers, and clinicians on product use and relay field feedback to internal teams. At the Manager (Team Lead) (M1) level, the role owns a single team, day-to-day delivery and people issues, and drives team output and health. Direct people management of one team.

What this level does

  • Supervises the daily activities of a unit of clinical specialists and sales engineers, assigning case coverage and product demonstration schedules across the territory
  • Coaches individual contributors on delivering technical presentations and acting as a clinical resource during surgeries, providing on-site troubleshooting when reps escalate
  • Reviews quotes, product configurations, and customer data entered in Salesforce and Veeva to ensure accuracy before submission
  • Monitors inventory levels and ensures customer requirements are fulfilled for demo units and consignment stock in the assigned area
  • Ensures team members maintain vendor credentialing through VendorMate and Reptrax and complete therapy awareness event coverage

Plans and assigns on-site clinical case coverage across a territory, ensuring specialists are credentialed, scheduled, and available to provide OR/cath-lab troubleshooting.

Maintains competitive understanding of market share within the territory and uses it to prioritize accounts and position technical support against competitors.
Vendor credentialing compliance
